The rules for using aifocus.ro and for attending AI Focus sessions and workshops.

1. Who we are

AI Focus is a service operated by MARLINK TRADING SRL, registered office Str. Vaselor 2 Bl. 34 Et. 1 Ap. 9, Sectorul 2, București, 021254, Trade Registry no. J40/24350/1994, VAT/registration no. 6612637.

2. Acceptance

By using the site or enrolling in a session, workshop or any other AI Focus service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site and do not enrol.

3. What we sell

AI Focus provides training and consultancy in artificial intelligence:

• Sessions and Workshops — delivered at a scheduled date and time, individually or in small groups;
• Teams — sessions and workshops arranged for a company, at the client's premises or at a venue we book;
• Roadmap, Implementation and Department — consultancy and delivery services, contracted separately.

The description, duration, level and price of each service are those shown on the service page at the time you enrol.

4. Enrolment and payment

4.1. The booking interface must identify the service, date, price, taxes and the point at which the contract is concluded before you submit an order. The exact booking and confirmation flow is not approved in this draft.

4.2. Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the service page. The applicable VAT treatment and final amount must be stated before payment.

4.3. The approved booking terms must state when a seat becomes reserved and how limited capacity is allocated.

5. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts mandatory consumer rights. The detailed working policy is in Cancellations and refunds

5.1. Mandatory withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer (a natural person acting outside your trade, business or profession), any mandatory right of withdrawal and refund under Romanian and European consumer law remains fully available to you.

To exercise a right or send a cancellation request, write unambiguously to office@aifocus.ro and identify the enrolment. The approved policy will state the applicable period, method and reimbursement process for each service type after legal review.

5.2. Services beginning during an applicable withdrawal period

Where a service is requested to begin during an applicable withdrawal period, AI Focus will request only the express statements required by law and will explain their effect before enrolment. The exact wording and the treatment of partially performed services remain subject to legal review and must match the enrolment interface.

5.3. Note on scheduled events

Romanian law contains exceptions for some services contracted for a specific date or period of performance, including the rule in art. 16(l) OUG 34/2014. Whether and how that provision applies to any AI Focus service is not settled in this draft and requires legal approval. These terms do not ask you to waive any mandatory right on the basis of an unapproved interpretation.

5.4. Cancellation after the statutory withdrawal period

A ticket is valid for 6 months from its issuance in the system, following completion of the order. Its expiry date is set when it is issued. Placing the ticket on an event does not pause, reset, or extend that date. Once placed, the ticket is associated with the seat for that event and cannot be placed on another event by relying on the same validity period.

At expiry, an unplaced ticket can no longer be placed on an event. An expired ticket is forfeited, has no residual value, and does not entitle you to a refund, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law. This clause does not promise a transfer right.

Without limiting mandatory consumer rights, approved refunds are granted only for the entire order. We do not provide partial refunds for an order. The operator makes the refund through the original payment method.

To exercise a statutory withdrawal right or submit a cancellation request, send an unambiguous request to office@aifocus.ro and identify the order and participant. The applicable statutory withdrawal period depends on the service purchased and applicable law. After that applicable statutory period has ended, the price paid is retained and no refund is due for a cancellation requested by you.

This subsection governs cancellation by you. If we cancel, 5.6 applies instead.

5.5. Seat assignment and transfer

These terms do not promise a transfer right.

5.6. If we cancel

If we cancel an event and do not provide the service, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. The refund is not conditional on accepting a rescheduled or equivalent event.

5.7. Services for companies

For Teams, Roadmap, Implementation and Department, cancellation and refund terms are those in the signed client contract. Where that contract is silent, these terms apply.

The statutory right of withdrawal in 5.1 does not apply to legal entities.

6. Delivery

6.1. The confirmed booking will state the venue, time and any materials participants need. The delivery notice period is not approved in this draft.

6.2. For sessions at a client's premises or at a booked venue, the client provides participant access and the agreed technical conditions.

6.3. Any instructor-substitution rule must be stated in the approved booking terms.

7. Participant conduct

Participants must not disrupt a session, harm other participants or break the law. Any exclusion and refund consequence must be proportionate, lawful and stated in the approved policy; this draft sets no automatic forfeiture.

8. Materials and intellectual property

Course materials are provided to you for your own personal learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell or use them to deliver your own training without our written consent.

You keep ownership of anything you create yourself during a session.

9. Liability

We deliver training with professional care. We do not guarantee any particular commercial, technical or employment outcome from attending.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

10. Data protection

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Account deletion is a verified 14-day recoverable process described there. A deletion request does not require us to erase records that must be retained under an applicable legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, and retained records do not restore account access.

11. Complaints

Write to us at office@aifocus.ro. The approved version must describe the applicable complaint and consumer-redress channels without creating an unsupported response-time promise.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are settled by the competent courts at the registered office of MARLINK TRADING SRL, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your own domicile.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your enrolment is the one in force when your enrolment was confirmed.
